Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Kyma API is a service of Affitor LLC(Wyoming, USA), doing business as Kyma API. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses the API — chat and reasoning models, image and video generation, and audio (speech, transcription, music). It is part of, and incorporated into, the Terms of Service. If your use breaks these rules we may suspend or terminate access.

The short version

  • Don't use Kyma to create, distribute, or facilitate illegal content or activity.
  • Don't generate sexual content involving minors, or use the API to exploit or endanger children — ever. This is reported to authorities.
  • Don't build for harassment, fraud, malware, spam, or large-scale disinformation.
  • Don't try to break, overload, resell wholesale, or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Be honest about AI-generated media, and respect other people's rights.

Prohibited content and uses

You may not use Kyma API, or any model offered through it, to generate, request, or facilitate:

Child safety

Any sexual content involving minors (real or synthetic), or any material that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers children. We have zero tolerance, preserve evidence, and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant authorities.

Illegal and dangerous activity

Content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism; instructions for weapons, explosives, or other mass-harm; the synthesis of illegal drugs; or any other activity unlawful where you or your users are located.

Harassment, hate, and violence

Content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against individuals or groups, or that promotes hatred based on protected characteristics.

Fraud, deception, and impersonation

Phishing, scams, fake reviews, academic dishonesty for sale, or impersonating a person or organization. Voice cloning and image/video generation that impersonates a real person without their consent is prohibited.

Malware and security abuse

Creating malware, ransomware, exploits, or tooling whose primary purpose is to gain unauthorized access to systems or data. (Legitimate security research and defensive tooling are allowed.)

Privacy violations

Harvesting or inferring personal data without a lawful basis, doxxing, or surveillance that violates applicable law.

Spam and platform abuse

Bulk unsolicited messaging, content farms designed to manipulate search or recommendation systems, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.

High-risk uses require safeguards

If your application uses model output in domains that affect people's safety, rights, or livelihood — medical, legal, or financial advice; employment, housing, lending, or insurance decisions; or anything affecting a person's legal status — you must keep a qualified human in the loop, disclose that AI is involved, and not present output as professional advice. Kyma models are not a substitute for a licensed professional.

Transparency for synthetic media

When you publish AI-generated images, video, audio, or voices in a context where a reasonable person would assume they are real, disclose that the media is AI-generated. Don't strip provenance metadata to pass synthetic media off as authentic.

Intellectual property

Don't use Kyma to infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights, and don't upload content you don't have the rights to use. Copyright complaints are handled under our DMCA process — email dmca@kymaapi.com.

Technical fair use

  • Don't circumvent rate limits, quotas, or billing, or share credentials to evade them.
  • Don't resell raw API access wholesale, or operate Kyma as an undifferentiated pass-through gateway. Building a product on top of the API is fine.
  • Don't probe, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service's internal operation, or attempt to disrupt its availability.
  • Don't use outputs to train a competing model where the underlying model's license prohibits it.

Enforcement

We may remove content, throttle or suspend an account, or terminate access for violations — immediately and without notice where there is risk of harm, illegal activity, or service abuse. We may preserve and disclose information when required by law or to protect people from harm. Where appropriate we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix the issue.

Reporting a violation

To report content or behavior that breaks this policy, see Report a violation or email report@kymaapi.com. We review every report.
