What Kyma does
Kyma API gives you access to open-source AI models through a single, OpenAI-compatible endpoint. We handle the routing, load balancing, and reliability — you focus on building.
Your account
- •Register with a valid email to get your API key.
- •Keep your API key secure — you're responsible for all usage under your key.
- •One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to exploit free credits or referral bonuses isn't allowed.
Fair use
We want everyone to have a great experience. Please don't:
- •Generate content that's illegal, harmful, or designed to harass others.
- •Attempt to attack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
- •Circumvent rate limits or abuse the system.
- •Resell API access without permission.
Credits and billing
- •New accounts receive a $0.50 welcome bonus to get started.
- •Additional credits can be purchased at any time. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- •Each API request deducts credits based on the model and tokens used.
- •Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. They never expire.
- •Credits are for API usage only. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed for money.
- •Kyma reserves the right to adjust credit balances if they were obtained through abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.
Referral program
Kyma offers a referral program where you can earn credits by inviting others to use the platform.
- •How it works: Share your referral link. When someone signs up and uses at least 1 million tokens, both you and the referred user each receive $0.50 in credits.
- •Pending status: Referrals start as "pending" and become "verified" only when the referred user uses 1M+ tokens. There is no time limit.
- •Legitimate referrals only. Each referral must be a real person who genuinely intends to use Kyma. Creating fake accounts, using bots, or any form of automated signup to earn referral credits is strictly prohibited.
- •One account per person. Each person may only have one Kyma account. Multiple accounts created by the same person will be considered fraudulent.
- •Enforcement: If we detect referral abuse (fake accounts, bots, self-referrals), we will reset earned credits to zero, revoke referral privileges, and may permanently ban the account.
- •Kyma reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
Rate limits
To ensure fair access for everyone:
- •Tier 0 (free): 30 requests/min, 25 per-model RPM, 200K tokens/min.
- •Tier 1–4: Higher limits based on credits purchased ($10–$1,000). Up to 300 RPM, 200 per-model RPM, 10M TPM.
- •Some models may have additional limits from upstream providers.
How we handle your data
We log API requests — including message content — to monitor quality and prevent abuse. Logs are kept for 90 days. We do not use your data to train AI models. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
AI-generated content
Responses are generated by third-party AI models. While we strive for quality, AI outputs may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. You're responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before relying on it for important decisions.
Service availability
We work hard to keep Kyma reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We depend on third-party AI providers and infrastructure. We're not liable for interruptions, but we'll always communicate openly about issues.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. This includes but is not limited to:
- •Creating fake or bot accounts.
- •Abusing the referral program or signup bonuses.
- •Circumventing rate limits or security measures.
- •Any activity that disrupts the service for other users.
We'll try to give notice when possible, but reserve the right to act immediately in serious cases. Enforcement actions may include: warning, credit reset, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll notify you of significant changes. Continued use after updates means you accept the new terms.
